BEGINNER FRIENDLY

No previous boxing experience is needed. Sessions cover the fundamentals of boxing, including stance, footwork, punches, combinations, pad work and fitness. The focus is on learning proper boxing technique, improving fitness and enjoying training in a comfortable environment. There is no requirement to spar or get hit.

What to expect

Women’s Boxing sessions last 45 minutes and are designed to give you a complete boxing workout in a friendly, small group environment.

You’ll learn genuine boxing technique while improving your fitness, coordination and confidence. Sessions include technical drills, pad work, conditioning and combinations, with exercises adapted to your individual ability.

1. WARM UP

We start with around 10 minutes of movement and fitness work to get you ready for the session.

This may include skipping, footwork, mobility exercises and boxing based conditioning, gradually raising your heart rate while introducing some of the movements used later in the class.

2. Boxing & Fitness

The main 30 minutes of the session focuses on learning and developing your boxing.

You’ll work on stance, footwork, punches, combinations and defensive movement through a mixture of technical drills, pad work and fitness exercises.

Our smaller group format allows for more individual attention, personal coaching and a relaxed, supportive training environment.”

3. Wrap it up

We finish by gradually bringing the intensity down with lighter movement, mobility and stretching.

It’s a chance to recover after the workout and leave feeling ready for the rest of your evening.
